Apple's upcoming iPhone 15 series is highly anticipated and is expected to be officially released in September. However, according to the latest reports, the series of phones may face a shortage of supply with a very limited number of the first batch.
According to a report by 9to5mac, the iPhone 15 series includes the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and the release is expected to continue the iPhone release schedule of the past few years, i.e., meet you in mid to late September. Currently, the new models have entered the pilot production stage and are expected to begin official mass production next month.
Although Apple plans to release the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max on time in September, the initial supply may be insufficient due to possible problems with LG Display's screen panel production volume, especially due to the narrowed bezel design, leading to overall tight shipments. The iPhone 15 Pro Max version in particular could face serious supply shortages.
Nonetheless, Apple has no plans to delay the release of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. they are scheduled to go on sale normally in September, but in limited quantities.
What's to be expected is that the iPhone 15 series will bring seven important upgrades. The first is the replacement of USB-C ports, followed by a new "dynamic island" design, and all models will have narrower bezels, including the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the black edge of the cover is only 1.55 mm wide, a record. In addition, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will feature a new titanium body and the world's first 3nm A17 Bionic chip. The iPhone 15 Pro Max will also feature an improved rear camera with a periscope lens and 40W wired fast charging and 20W MagSafe wireless charging.
